Workout Inspo!

Is it only me who has this obsession about workout clothes? I get more excited buying these than anything else! Here's some workout outfits I've put together just to give you a little inspiration for the next time you go out sports shopping! 

1. Feeling Fresh

Here's an outfit for those days where you just wanna wear something super comfy and go out for a jog. Nothing like a nice grey pair of sweatpants!

2. Cutiepatootie

Just one of those days where you wanna look and feel cute while working out! I don't know about you but this would look great during those summer/spring workout sessions.

3. Minimal Monkey

If you don't already know, black, grey and white is what I'm all about. Not only are they my favorite colors; literally my whole closet are based off of those three colors! This would totally be my everyday workout clothes. What about you? 

4. Beach Bums

For those girls who just loves to soak up the sun. Here's an outfit I've put together for a morning run by the beach. Nothing like the salty air in your hair! Okay, that was lame...

What to do after a workout!

I used to think after a workout I'd just need to shower but apparently that's not the way to go! Here are a few tips I've learned on what to do right after a work out session.


1. The Cool Down

Whether it was an intense workout or not, cooling down is just as important as stretching before the workout! This would recover your body and bring your heart rate back down to its normal state. Try cooling down for around 15-20 minutes.

2. Post Workout Stretch

Just how your pre stretch prepares your muscles for the workout, the post workout stretch prevents you from having sore muscles possibly later on the day. Plus it feels amazing when you relax your muscles!

3. Rehydration

You would definitely want to restore all the body fluids you have just lost by drinking a good amount of water. You can even add slices of lemon or fruit to give your water some flavor. If you're feeling a little peckish, you can have something light, like a muesli bar or a bowl of fruits.

4. Shower

Oh the glorious shower! You definitely do not want to miss this step. I know some of you would probably feel super lazy and tired after a workout but it's a crucial step, trust me! This will prevent you from getting infections in the future, also it will prevent you from getting acne, since the sweat and grime will surely help acne grow.

5. Washing your Workout Clothes

Washing your workout clothes right after a workout is the best idea. Sweat stains and you surely don't want the odor to stick either! Just throw in your workout clothes in the laundry as you're getting ready for your shower.

Skin Care Products I Swear By!



St Ives Apricot Scrub: I first started using this scrub when I was 16 and I was completely obsessed with it! I just recently repurchased this and I honestly forgot why I ever stopped using it. It smells amazing and your skin feels great after using it. I use this every other day since I have really dry cheeks.

Nivea Light Moisturiser: Living in such a warm country, (Sri Lanka) it's so gross to put on super the thick moisturizers. I've been searching for some good light ones, and I think I've hit the jackpot! This works great on my skin; I have combination skin, where my nose is super oily and The rest of my face is super dry. I use this daily, focusing more under my eyes since I have really dry skin there.

OOTD: Edgy Casual


This is probably my most favorite thing to wear; jeans and a tee, especially jean shorts. Here I paired my ripped jean shorts with a worn out black Quicksilver t-shirt, black sandals and a little black leather messenger bag (Not real leather of course!). Finished it off with none other than the simple red lip and black liquid liner.
